I’m Jacob — a Chicago-based wedding photographer with over 15 years of experience documenting weddings with intention, artistry, and a deep understanding of how meaningful these days truly are. My work is rooted in a documentary approach, focusing on real emotion and refined storytelling — the fleeting glances, the unguarded laughter, the stillness woven between moments. I photograph weddings as they unfold naturally, creating imagery that feels timeless, elegant, and unmistakably personal.
Couples often tell me that my calm, grounded presence is one of the things they value most. Weddings can be beautifully full and emotional, and my role is to guide you through it all with confidence, ease, and a steady hand. I guide when needed, anticipate moments before they happen, and create space for things to unfold beautifully without feeling staged or rushed. With experience comes ease, and with ease comes the freedom for you to be fully present, knowing every moment is being handled with care.

Because let’s be honest — the perfectly posed moments rarely make the memories. It’s the in-between stuff: the side glances, the bad dance moves, the spontaneous hugs, and the real laughs that age the best.
